Great Yarmouth - Ordnance Survey Map, 1 inch to 1 mile(1912)
Further development has now taken place and the town is spreading. Marine Parade has appeared and South Denes is starting to be built-up. Gorleston is also growing and developments are happening along the Southtown road area. There are also new roads in the Newtown area to the north and at Cobholm.

The two original stations, now owned by the Great Eastern Railway, have been joined by the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway route from the north and Beach station has appeared. In addition the Norfolk & Suffolk Joint line from Southtown through Gorleston to Lowestoft has been opened. Note also how there are now connections between all stations, that from the Beach station going via the girder swing bridge over Breydon water.
